We are honored that you will joining us on February 25th at 8:00pm EST for The Veteran’s Spouse Project’s inagural Honoring All Military Ball. Please note that you will need to prepare a few items ahead of time. In order to get the full experience of a Military Ball, please follow the four steps listed below.

Step 1: Welcome!

Another important part of every Military Ball is the Grog Ceremony. What is that you ask? Watch CPT Mathew Rigdon explain what this entails.

To join us in this tradition, please have the following items on hand during the virtual Honoring All Military Ball:

Begin with your spirit of choice;

Bourbon, Gin, Vodka

 

Add Champagne

TO REPRESENT WORLD WAR II

 

Add Bitters

TO REPRESENT THE KOREAN WAR

 

Mix with a Bamboo Straw

TO REPRESENT THE VIETNAM WAR

 

Use a Brown-Sugared Rim Glass

TO REPRESENT DESERT STORM

 

Add Pomegranate Juice or Rip It™

TO REPRESENT THE GLOBAL WAR ON TERROR

Step 4: The Fallen Soldier's Table

One of our most solemn military ball traditions is the Fallen Soldier’s Table, where we honor those who gave their lives in service to the nation. Please watch to hear from

Ms. Krista Anderson, Gold Star Spouse and founder of the Unquiet Professional, as she shares the importance and impact of this tradition.

Honor Their Sacrifice
 

Inside your Table For Two event box you will find a rose and a vase. We ask that on the night of the Honoring All Military Ball that you set up a Fallen Soldier’s Table with the following:

A white table cloth or similar item
 

The included rose and vase
 

A slice of lemon
 

Salt
 

A table setting for one with an inverted glass

 

An empty chair
